The Department of Environmental has as its focus, the preparation of men and women in the field of construction readiness via Asbestos, OSHA and Hazardous Waste. Our courses at most last one week. Our courses are DLS, OSHA, and EPA approved. Students who take our courses are guaranteed readiness to enter the work force. Our instructors are trained with practical work experience making learning relatable for our students.

Asbestos Worker Initial

The preparation of men and women in the field of construction readiness via Asbestos. The preparation of men and women in the field of construction readiness via Asbestos. Asbestos workers initial prepares individuals to work with and understand the dangers of asbestos. Upon completion of the course: Introduction, Health Hazards, State and Federal Regulations, PPE, Control Methods and safe work practices as well as pass Final Exam students will receive a certificate approved and recognized by the DLS. Students will also become license eligible.

The preparation of men and women in the field of construction readiness via Asbestos. Asbestos supervisor course initial is a program that prepares individuals to receive Certification to work as a licensed supervisor. The program is designed to equip and train A supervisor to oversee a project. Upon completion of the 4 modules: Introduction, Health Hazards, State and Federal Regulations and safe work practices, as well pass the training Exam students will receive a certificate approved and recognized by the DLS. Students will also become license eligible.

Asbestos Supervisor Course Refresher

The preparation of men and women in the field of construction readiness via Asbestos. Asbestos supervisor course refresher is program that helps supervisors renew their supervisor License in accordance with Massachusetts state laws. This program offers information on any changes in regulations and reviews current regulations.

COURSES & REFRESHERS

OSHA 10-hour training is designed for entry-level workers in construction and general industry. While the OSHA Outreach Training Program is voluntary, employers may require you to earn an OSHA 10 card before you start work. This training is also mandatory in certain states, cities and local jurisdictions.

Occupational Safety Health Awareness

This program prepares individuals to learn the federal and state safety and health regulations. The program covers everything from electrical safety, fall protection, personal protective equipment to scaffolds and ladder safety. Upon completion students will understand and be able to recognize the dangers of working in construction, demolition, asbestos, lead and Hazwopper. Students will receive a certificate as well as an OSHA Card. Students are encouraged to verify in their respective states the renewal policies for the OSHA 10 card.

HAZWOPER

40-Hour HAZWOPER Training Course

This training is appropriate for workers who are unlikely to experience high-risk exposure hazards at uncontrolled hazardous waste operations. This includes workers on site only occasionally for specific limited tasks and those who work in areas where hazards do no exceed permissible exposure limits.

Since these life-or-death situations require fast action, having an in-depth understanding of the techniques is essential.
